The coating process starts at the industrial spray booth. The booth is equipped with a water curtain system that can effectively catch overspray. The water that collects overspray must be filtered in order to ensure efficient performance of the booth.
Note that it’s imperative to clean and purge the filtration system and the booth itself on a weekly basis. This is a necessary maintenance minimum required to keep it in good working condition. In simple words, it doesn’t allow the wet paint to be contaminated with dust or other particles floating in the air.
• It allows for an easier transition to the baking booth.
The temperature in the flash off zone is higher than normal room temperature, which “prepares” the surface to the heat of the baking booth.
